BANG! BANG! BANG! CRASH! BANG! CRASH! BANG!

That’s DLQ for you.

BANG! CRASH! BANG! CRASH! Widdle.

That there; that is the sound of The Drop and from there on in? Well, it’s bang, crash, slap, tickle, bounce, bop, crash, bang, wallop, growl all the way! It’s been a while since we covered anything from the Duds and although it’s admirable that they’re still around they still give us a bit of a headache. Most of that is because EVERYTHING IS SO BANG! CRASH! LOUD! SMASH! SHOUT! BANG! CRASH! SMASH!

Subtle they are not.

Still, the Duds have a way and they stick to it. They’re slightly more controlled than they used to be, only now they sound like a bunch of lads hitting things in a set order as opposed to a bunch of drunk teenagers staggering through an antique shop.

Everyone Does Everything Wrong is not the kind of album you can jump up and down to. It’s not the kind of album you can dance to. It’s not even the kind of album you should give to your parents when trying to convince them that you’re a balanced individual and won’t set the house on fire when they go away on holiday; but it is the kind of album you can bash your head repeatedly off the wall against while pretending to be a woodpecker. And that's more fun than it sounds. Probably. Possibly.

It’s strangely enjoyable, if rather painful at the same time. Don't question it, just grab some sticks and start hitting things. Bang, crash, wallop, whoopee!
