Here's another lucky dip bag, filled to the brim with info on some of the best bands we've discovered on My Space over the last few weeks. So drop your hand in and pick out a goodie or two.

Hungover Stuntmen

As catchy as the Sweet. As confident as a young Liam Gallagher. More talented than a bunch of young Geordie lads have any right to be, Hungover Stuntmen have been building up quite a following in the UK over the past couple of years. Having supported the likes of Paul Weller, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, The Futureheads and the legend that is John Otway, this bunch of lads are well worth checking in on. They take your standard Britpop motif and kick it up the arse a bit, turning the tempo up a little and injecting bit of adrenaline, showing Kasabian that it's possible to do confidence without sounding like a twat. Expect to hear more about this lot soon.

Love Like Fire

They hail from San Francisco but they could easily come from Essex. Reminiscent of Echobelly, but with a slightly darker undercurrent. Love Like Fire manage to be catchy without ever sounding like a radio friendly college rock band, which is quite impressive for a band from across the pond. They don't normally get things this right over there. Check them out

13 Amp

13 Amp are a three piece indie/rock/alternative band, or so they say, that hail from Warrington, Merseyside. All you really need to know is that they are reminiscent of early Julian Cope, which should be enough to send all you Teardrop Explodes fans scurrying over to the band's website to find out more immediately. This is jangly, catchy rock with some sub-par, Zutons style, saxophone thrown over the top for no apparent reason whatsoever. They make a pretty decent racket though. Debut album Moths is a blast. Enjoy.
