What’s new with us?

There be some strange goings on around these parts.

There be some strange goings on around these parts.

Well, what a year this is shaping up to be! 2005 has gotten off to what I can only describe as a fabulous start. We’ve only just bundled our way into the snowdrifts of March and already my cd shelf is creaking under the extra weight of albums I’ve had to add to it this year. Mercury Rev, Athlete, Brendan Benson, Gruff Rhys, LCD Soundsystem (to name but a few) have all released cracking records in the past couple of months and I simply don’t have the time to give them all the attention they deserve. Why? Because there’s more good music on the way! Hoorah!

This month you’ll be able to look through our reviews of new albums by Rufus Wainwright, Doves, Hayseed Dixie, Tori Amos, I Am Kloot, The Bravery, Kaiser Chiefs and more this month so you’d best dig into your pockets and build another shelf in the living room, you’ll need it.

Also, don’t forget to check out our new regular feature page "BRIGHT SPARKS"; where we give you the rundown on some unsigned and up and coming talent. Every week demo cds and singles drop through through the door into the Incendiary shed from bands wanting to be heard. The Bright Sparks page will be your chance to read about them. If you’re in a band and are looking for some exposure, send us your demos. We can’t promise anything, but if we like what we’re hear there’s a good chance you could be our next ‘bright spark’, so to speak. So get mailing. We want to hear from you.

Please enjoy your stay. You are welcome to stay as long as you wish. We hope you enjoy your time here at Incendiary and we sincerely hope to see you back here soon. Have a nice day now, won’t you?

Yours, Damian
