This is great fun, tipping it’s titfer to Clinton, Art of Noise and lo-fi in equal measure. Everything’s about 2 minutes long, and choc-full of zany drum fills and silly samples. It’s great dance music in that it never seems to outstay its welcome, despite the odd daft moment (like on Magic). Now and again we get some woozy folk moments (Juicy) or casio weird-outs morphing into high gloss remix parodies (Sassy).
It’s also reminiscent of White Williams’ groove, but hell that’s no bad thing. I really, really like this CD. Check it out.
