This is a great mini LP to check out if you dig the kind of noises Conny Plank used to knock out with Dieter Moebius back in the day.  There are 6 tracks, all pretty much based round a wobbly synth effect that sounds like a futuristic didgeridoo. The charmingly understated opener Green Flag has the feel of the ‘Twin’s Analogue Bubblebath about it too, whereas Wrong Ride sounds like aliens parking the U.F.O. at Sainsbury’s. Innit is the classic on the LP; a repetitive non-beat that is incredibly danceable. At times it sounds like bees holding a Kraftwerk appreciation weekend.

This record can drive you to exalted levels of torpor and I certainly wouldn’t recommend smoking Turkish cigarettes to it as you may find yourself unable to leave the room. Still, I love its kooky vibe.
