it drones and it drones well
Drone. For most people that’s a negative word, but if you like your rock of the shoe-gazing variety, then it has more positive connotations. Loxsly drone, or at least their guitars do.They also hit drums with a sharp, almost military zeal and the singer sounds like he’s in quite a bit of discomfort (think somewhere in between Jonathan Donohue and Wayne Coyne) but I like them. A lot. Flashlights is just a great little EP. I’ve not much to say about it other than it drones and it drones well so if you like your drone then get a load of this. It’s a belter.
