Incendiary magazine have been bugging me to write a few words on what’s worth a listen beats-wise, so, with apologies to no one, here are my top five tracks this month. I accept 20% commission in guaranteeing that these choices will ensure your future happiness, but that’s a cheap price, I reckon. Here they are. I’m not going to describe them, as I’m not a reviewer, just a deejay. Anyway, they’re all great.

1} Nordic Trax presents “Many Shades of House” (div. artists)

Album sampler 12′ NT038, (Nordic Trax). Here’s one for the funky/deep house crowd.

2} “From the Reels Part 1” (diverse artists)

Deep house re-releases from Home & Garden & Donaldson, like “Leave Your World” and “Simple Pleasure”. Remix by Brett Johnson on Home & Garden’s “Find Your Love”.

Icon 017 (Icon recordings)

3} CRM “Happy Endings” Kenny Jenkins and Rob Rives re-mix WT601-44-1 (Wavetec recordings) A Tech- house classic I think……..

4} Troydon “The Waxed Up” E.P.. Troydon and Mark Farina remixes. GM 6-008 (Gallery recordings). A lovely jazzy house collection to warm the cockles of your heart.

5} Green Keepers with Eclat & Prudo “80’s Throwback & Telefunken remixes” Green Keepers remix 80s throwback, whilst Italian duo Eclat & Prudo do similar with Telefunken. WHiZ-005, (Washhouse recordings).

Right; that’s enough from me! Try to get your paws on them. See you next month.
