Well hello again! SORRY we have been so quiet in January.
Well hello again! SORRY we have been so quiet in January.
Well hello again! SORRY we have been so quiet in January. This was due to factors beyond our control (mostly technical and legal stuff, about which I have neither the wit, knowledge, or patience to describe to you).
Hopefully we can no improve our service to you with lots of new gagetry and quirky things that will appear within the confines of the mag.
Anyway, we’re back, better than ever, and boy do we have a treat in store this month. Reviews of Bartos, Gruff Rhys, and LCD Soundsystem, interviews with the James Yorkston, The Polaroids, Bloc Party and Amityville, and articles covering topics as diverse as Frans Bauer, Charity Records and Spacemen 3. You can see we’ve been busy.
Oh, and Incendiary would like to thank that most talented gentleman, Mr Gruff Rhys of Super Furry Animals; who patiently fielded our questions (a brilliant interview that will appear next month by the way), saw us get drunk, and then charmed us all with a fantasic concert at the Paradiso. And what about the concert played by the Electric Barbarians with Kane (no, not that Kane, one of the Lost Poets if you didn’t know) on the 28th? Incredible. Who says January is boring? (Actually whilst I’m on that subject, did anyone get up to Groningen for the festival?)
Oh, one more thing. February will be a cracker on the gig front; Ben Christophers, Camper Van Beethoven, The Bunnymen (I think) are just three highlights. Check ’em out.
TTFN Richard.
