Gig in August.
The main event this month has to be Lowlands, which is on the weekend of the 19th -21st of August. Luckily for those not going we can watch it on the telly, as the line up is mouth-watering – the Pixies, Franz Ferdinand and Nick Cave being the headliners. We’re off to Haldern just over the German/Dutch border (where we will be regaled with performances from British Sea Power, Franz Ferdinand, Tom Vek, the Coral and the Polyphonic Spree). That’s on the 4th -6th August. Lokersefeest in Belgium also looks a good bet from the 8th – 20th, with the Cure and Iggy and the Stooges being the main draws.
I’ve just bought some fabbo new combats to go with my linens and neckerchief combo. (It goes without saying that Incendiary will be the best dressed magazine under canvas this summer).
