From Scratch enters on an echoing guitar note, slowly rocking back and forth. It wobbles about very precariously for about three minutes and then shimmies off. Pleasant enough… Following this is Blank Fields which carries on the reflective vibe, (though we do have a quiet vocal accompaniment). A maudlin moog (?) appears at one point, adding an earthly ingredient to the airy sketchiness of the music.

Sonically it’s hard to pin it down; such is the paucity of instrumentation. Forget Our Moves wraps up the EP. A very melancholy feel is imparted, and again there’s a slow build up aided and abetted by a clarinet. A guitar bursts in giving a greatly needed lift to this somewhat studious song.
Minimal stuff, sometimes too quiet and reflective… They may need to push themselves harder and experiment with different keys and textures.
