Best Moments

-The Flip Kowler show in Rotterdam‘s Rotown was memorably one of the best of moments of the year. He was extremely amusing even though neither myself nor 1/2 of the Dutch audience there had any idea what he was saying. He danced around, told stories, imitated the Darkness, rapped and played a diverse blend of music from his albums.

-Beluah at Paradiso.  I have been a fan for some time, but never saw them live seeing as they were a west coast band and barely toured the east coast whist I was living in the US.  They had a great energy on stage, like a band that had been playing together for years should.  Their live show left everything else behind, and you could just see that they were having a lot of fun, regardless of what was going on in the band actually. I think they announced their official breakup just weeks later. The reason that it is one of my Best Moments of 2004 is because Tim, Jonathan and I got to go on stage with them and play tambourine. That was wicked!

Wishes For Next Year

-New Raveonettes album, due out in 2005, should be excellent, striped down and less noisy, also Sharin Foo moves to guitar and sings more.

-More local band awareness.
