Attila the Stockbroker Patrik Fitzgerald Stinksisters Den Haag Rotterdam 14-15/2/13

Blank Generation presents: Patrik Fitzgerald (UK) & Attila the Stockbroker (UK) Den Haag and Rotterdam. Apparently Blank Generation is a “brand new platform for subversive culture” and they seem to be takling this pretty seriously, down to the last detail.

Blank Generation presents: Patrik Fitzgerald (UK) & Attila the Stockbroker (UK) De Vinger Den Haag & WORM – Rotterdam. A Friday night too if you go to WORM, (so paypackets in popckets).

We think this is an event NOT TO BE MISSED!

 Here’s some blurb.

“On Thursday February 14th and Friday, February 15 sees pioneering punk singer-songwriter Patrik Fitzgerald and radical performance poet Attila the Stockbroker play De Vinger and WORM! Patrik Fitzgerald, known for punk classic “Safety Pin Stuck In My Heart” (1977) influenced many musicians, including ‘sharp-tongued, high energy, social surrealist rebel poet and songwriter Attila the Stockbroker. Both have a very distinctive sound, but the same anti-establishment attitude and sharp humour: do it yourself punk & poetry that remains as compelling as ever in 2013.”

We can’t add much else except that ANY artiste who got a Steve Jacuzzi cover designed for them, (as Mr Stockbroker did) is one to catch live. Outside of the Icicle Works, mind, but then that’s just me.

Apparently Blank Generation is a “brand new platform for subversive culture” and they seem to be takling this pretty seriously, down to the last detail, as there’s an afterparty with delightfully named STINK SISTERS, “an anarchist trash punk trio from Rotterdam has been active since 1992 and acts have recently returned to the original French-Dutch line-up: très wild!” Golly. This will be good too.

+ DJ Hans Tweedehands (another reason to go, you can bore Hans with vinyl talk and he will know what you’re on about) and Sid Idiopath. I don’t know Sid but he sounds like the sort of chap you can talk to.

See if you can steal the very collectable Viktor Hachmang posters too. Yowsa!
