perilously close to sounding like an album of elevator music
It’s a fun little album this. It skirts perilously close to sounding like an album of elevator music, but it’s poppy enough to keep your interest. The vocals are gentle but inventive, as is the music, and although there’s not really a lot to sink your teeth into, there’s enough charm to make you smile throughout. It’s the kind of album you’ll want to sit down on a Sunday evening and enjoy a glass of wine with and it will make these spring evenings seem that bit more joyful. It’s not far removed from a couple of blokes with their Casio keyboards, but thankfully these guys know what they’re doing. Like I said, it’s a lot of fun, and that’s more than enough to make it worth your while.
